Great Purchase

I purchased the small Wheely Bug for my 12 month old daughter at the same time a friend purchased a similar product for her. Immediately I realized why the Wheely Bug's are so popular. Most of the similar products on the market have wheels that only go forward and backwards, which make it difficult for the child to maneuver around the house. The Wheely Bug has wheels that spin 360 degrees giving my child the ability to easily move around objects. She was just starting to walk and the Wheely bug gave her an option to move around without falling and at the same time strengthen her legs. It works much better on hard wood floors but it can go on carpet with a little more effort to move along. Getting on and off the Wheely Bug is a little more challenging on the hard wood floors as the bug can move while getting on or off. I purchased a lightweight soft padded baby helmet for my daughter to wear during the early stages of walking until she got her balance and she wears it when she is on the Wheely Bug for those times when she is getting on and off. Well worth the money. Nice design.

AWESOME product!

We got the small Wheely Bug Cow for my 9-month old son and he LOVES it! Right now he can walk around, pushing it and also kneel and push it. He can't climb onto it by himself yet, but if we sit him on top of it, he can hold onto the bars and push himself around a little. He gets better every day. He plays with it every day and squeals with delight whenver he sees it. I can tell he is going to outgrow it probably by the time he's 18 months old, but then we will get one of the "large" sized ones. I love that he doesn't get stuck in corners because of the caster wheels. It's also very easy for him to push and it does well going from hardwood to carpet or over rugs. I was worried that he would be too young for it, but it's perfect for him. I would recommend the small Wheely Big for babies aged 9 months to 18 months. He is on the large size (tall), so smaller babies 9-month-olds might not be quite big enough for their feet to touch the ground. But they could still push it and be pushed on it. My two older boys love to put the baby on it and push him around. The only downside is that it's a little pricey, but I think it's worth it because of the super-high quality construction. It's very sturdy and I don't think it will break like some of the plastic ride-ons that we bought for my older sons when they were young. If I had it to do over, I would definitely buy this again.

Must have. Excellent value.

The Wheely Bug is a must have for every child. I have bought 9 for my various nieces and nephews down here in Australia, and bought one through Walmart to be delivered in Chicago to my newest nephew there. He loves it! Not only can they ride on it, they can practice walking by pushing it around.

Great Toy!

We bought one from another site months ago for our twins, they both love it so much we had to get a second one! So far they enjoy pushing it around. Before they could walk, they would push it on their knees! Great toy, no features tho. And I feel it is a little pricey for what it is BUT it entertains two 15 month olds throughout the day! And to me that is priceless!!

What a find!

Given to a 1 yr old and off he went! No assembly of instructions required. Reminds me of the toys I grew up with that were well built/designed and fun without being overly complicated. The quality of the product is top notch. My only complaint is the oily/dirty bubble wrap in the box.
