Not for older children.

This is a very nice little swing set. It does take while to put together. Although it is not hard. There are a lot of items. The hundreds of of nuts, bolts, washers, etc. as well as the large items are individually wrapped and labeled. The weight limit for the children is 80 lbs. So only younger kids. So far, it appears to be a great value.

Great swing set

This is a great swing set. My 3 year daughter just loves it. The best part is the trampoline. Took about 3-4 hours to put the set together. The slide I'm not sure if I like, it goes straight to the ground there are no legs. If you look at other slides they have legs and space between the ground and the slide. She comes down the slide and it's a hard hit after the bump. But it's ok she still plays on it.

Great playset for the price!

We got this set for our 5 year old because of the variety of swings, glider, slide, and trampoline. She loves it! It is strong and there have been six kids on it at one time from ages 3-8. It took a few hours for my husband and I to put together and it wasn't that hard. Be sure to purchase anchors to stake it down as they do not come with the kit.

We love it, but it was a pain to set up

Overall, we are really happy with this swingset. My kids (ages 1.5 and 3) love all of it. It took my husband and I around 5 hours to set it up. The trampoline was really hard - getting the springs to stretch was near impossible, but once we figured out to have one person stretch the spring and the other hammer it in when it was at the top of the hole, then it went much faster. The slide also does not line up well with the frame of the swingset, so it actually pulls it off the ground. The slide seems to be supporting the swingset just fine, because my kids have used it with no problem. The slide is easy enough to remove, so I'm not too worried about it. Overall, it's a great set, and my kids love it - especially the trampoline.

Swing set assembly

The assembly of this swing set was a long somewhat difficult process which took a lot more tools than just those provided. The set should be assembled into sub-assemblies in a garage where there is light and power, not out in the grass where nuts, bolts and washers can easily be lost. Try to have a table or something to do the assembly to avoid having to work on the ground. The instructions were clear, the parts were well marked and it went together with a minimum of fuss provided you have tools, wrenches, hammers, lights, screwdrivers. I have two major complaints: (a) The washers used under the nuts are plastic with a safety cap. If the nuts are over tightened the plastic washer will split. (b) The trampoline was extremely difficult to assemble as the springs are very tight and the frame is very light, so it took a lot of effort to hold the frame steady and a lot of muscle power and a hammer in order to get the spring into its slot. Good luck to all.

Poorly done

Most of the holes were not pre-drilled evenly. My husband is very handy but had trouble with this because nothing lined up correctly. By himself he got it all put together in about 5 hours. Wouldn't had taken that long if the product were a little better modified. Not only were the holes not lined up but once he got to the part where he connected the slide to the swing set, the holes for the screws on the slide were way higher then the bar it connected to on the set. He had to shove the ladder to the slide way down in the ground just to connect it to the swing set. With that being said, once my son seen it and played on it he loved it. Only have used it once so far, but I think it will hold up for a long time.

Not worth the headache. Order elsewhere.

We ordered this, received it later than we were supposed to. When we opened it & started putting it together, we noticed damaged AND missing pieces. Three hours later and it was still not finished. Had to contact the manufacturer to replace missing pieces. Over a week later, and we still haven't received them. You can also only contact that dept by email! It's hard for kids to understand why they have a new swingset but are unable to play on it. The slide is also very cheaply made. It isn't one solid piece, as I had first thought. I would've returned it, if we hadn't already had 3 hours invested in it & had it over half way assembled. There were also a ton of pieces that were not labeled or the bags with the label marlins were just thrown in the box and not wrapped around the part. I am not happy with this purchase. The trampoline does seem to be of good quality though.
