Wonderful product

My dentist, my dental hygienist, and I all noticed a significant improvement in my teeth after I switched from a manual toothbrush to Sonicare, recommended by my hygienist. At age 70, I was reluctant to buy some newfangled gizmo--hah!--but now I recommend it to anybody who will listen.

Super machine

I now have two Phillips Sonicare tooth brushes, the older one is a model e which we have had for 8-10 years and it works as well today as it did the day we purchased it. I am plagued with plaque and my hygienist recommended a more aggressive tooth brush so I purchased the Sonicare Series 2 plaque control model. At first it did not seem to operate with the degree of power I expected and I called Sonicare Customer Service and was instructed on how to improve the power of the machine. Now it provides a through job of cleaning my teeth. I am very satisfied with both Phillips Sonicare machines and highly recommend them to everyone.

Love My Toothbrush ❤️

I feel my teeth are cleaner, whiter, and healthier. It's actually fun to use my Sonicare toothbrush. I feel I'm giving my teeth the best care possible, and as a person over 65, that's important! My dad always said, "Be true to your teeth or they'll be false to you!"

A must for great oral hygiene!

Please note that I received a free sample of this product to provide an honest review. Initially, I was skeptical about the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush. The size of the brush head and the length of the bristles are much smaller than your standard electric toothbrush. My gums have deep pockets, so I was very surprised and pleased at the deep cleaning the brush provided. I really like that there is an automatic timer. The brush cuts off after 2 minutes. No more guessing if I brushed long enough. This has also encouraged me not to skip a step - thoroughly brush, rinse, and floss. It was easy to assemble. Just pop on the head and plug it in. Another really neat feature is the charge lasts for about 5 days. My outlet in the bathroom is near the sink, so charging there is not an option. I charged up the brush, removed it from it`s base to put in the bathroom. Along with its sleek and lightweight design, not having to carry a charger makes it great for overnight travel. I am definitely recommending this to my friends. As we age, oral hygiene becomes more challenging. I really like the ease of using this product to help me maintain my teeth. After brushing with the Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush my teeth feel polished and my gums are invigorated. It feels like I just got out of the hygienist`s chair. Well worth an investment.

Pretty Impressive Product!

I was given a Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush to try out as an independent, every-day-usage consumer, so that I could review it, and I must say that I was genuinely quite pleased with this product. My Mom and Dad had always lectured my siblings and I, since we were kids, about good dental hygiene and I myself had braces for over 3 years as a teenager. So my parents were even more adamant about me having meticulous dental habits after that, knowing all the money they had spent! So I have always been very conscientious and caring about my teeth, and very attuned about finding new and better ways to take care of them. I have to admit, the very first time I tried the Sonicare Brush, it actually kind of 'tickled' my lips, gums and teeth, when it made initial contact, but it certainly wasn't an un-pleasant experience. The vibrations of the Sonicare are just so intensive at first, that after trying other electric model toothbrushes, they seem almost "wimpy" in comparison! I was truly impressed with the rigorous, but still gentle, cleaning aspects of the Sonicare and feel that the brush is probably doing an exceptional job at removing any stains, debris or plaque I might have had from my teeth, while also massaging my gumline, for better overall gum health. I felt like I'd had a totally thorough cleaning, the first and following several times that I have used the Sonicare Brush, almost like a treatment I might have had done by my Dentist. I feel that continued use of this product will certainly help me in protecting my gums & teeth for the long run, and that is personally worth a lot to me!

Sleek and easy

I received this toothbrush as a free sample to review. I never owned an electric toothbrush before and I`m glad I have one now. First of all, it`s really, really easy to set up and use...unpack the box, attach the head and you`re in business. The charging stand is nice and small and sleek enough looking. About the brushing: The first couple times using might take a little getting used too...it felt a bit tickly against my inner gums...that went away after a few uses. Now it`s just brush and go. Note, you should let the brush do the work and not use it as you would a traditional toothbrush. This brush definitely leaves your teeth with a smooth, clean feeling.

Excellent, clean feel after a brushing!

I received this Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush in exchange for my review and I must say, I'm impressed! For the suggested price point, I think this is a pretty great product! Out of the box, there is the toothbrush head and a cover, the toothbrush base with battery, and a charging base with the cord. The head does not spin, but the bristles vibrate rapidly back and forth, enough to actually send a small jet of saliva and toothpaste through any spaces between my teeth if I'm holding it just right. The strength of the vibration did seem strong at first, but after a few days of getting used to it, it was quite tolerable. The one brush head provided in the package is small and shaped in somewhat of a diamond shape. This makes it easy to reach to the back of my mouth and not seem like I'm going to gag myself. This model has a 2 minute timer, and it briefly pauses/beeps every 30 seconds to remind you to move to one of four sections that the instruction manual suggests you divide your brushing into. Overall, I'm very happy with this product and will definitely make this a part of my dental hygiene routine.

Light and easy

I received the Philips Sonicare Toothbrush for free to review and I am really liking it. I followed the instructions for charging because I know that batteries will not last long if you do not give it a full initial charge. It took a day and a half to charge but the directions did state that it could take 48 hours. I don`t like how easily it can fall off the charger though. I had to make sure I kept it out of reach of the kids so they wouldn`t knock it over. At first the brush head seemed a little small but what I realized is it`s easier to get around the back teeth. I also really like the timed feature. Now the kids and I brush our teeth at the same time and we don`t stop until my toothbrush stops. My mouth seriously feels like I just got a cleaning at the dentist when I`m done!

this model is NOT good

Im a dental hygienist who recommends the sonicare to EVERY PATIENT I have....I thought all the models were basically the same except for the different speeds....WRONG.....this model felt like it hardly vibrated and didn't clean....there is NO comparison to the diamond clean model....not sure why ya'll would do any other model...

Warranty Lie

I'm immediately writing a poor review because there was a warranty card asking me to register for an additional 6 months of warranty. Upon doing this the warranty showed up as 2 years instead of 2.5. Terrible, terrible digital management...unacceptable. I'm not going to contact your customer service as you ask on the bar on the right hand side, you have already wasted a lot of my time. The sign-in process takes forever, the warranty process is confusing, there are 100 different products which look identical that I'm supposed to choose from...way too much corporate bureaucracy that you're pushing on to your customers. Your contact form requires me to call and stay on hold, and there is no written record. It's much easier for me to just write a poor review.
