Features of Florida Real Estate License Exam Prep (FL-RELEP): Florida Practices & Law Key Point Review in the same 19 sections as the FREC 1 prelicense course (70 pages) Real Estate Math Key Formula Review & Practice (20 pages) 16 Practice Tests covering Florida and National Content (575 questions with explanations) Florida License Exam Simulation (100 questions with explanations) We know the real estate licensing exam can be tough, and very nerve-wracking to prepare for. That's why we created the Florida Real Estate License Exam Prep (FL-RELEP) the way we did. Since we have been managing real estate schools and developing curriculum for forty years, we know how all this works - or fails to work. First, FL-RELEP is comprehensive. It contains both extensive content review as well as testing practice. And the text review, unlike most competing books, is Florida-specific - not just simplistic national content, but terse, relevant and accurate state and national laws and regulations presented as a set of 'key point reviews' ideal for pre-test memorization. FL-RELEP precisely follows the official 50+ page Florida syllabus topic by topic in the correct ordered sequence. Consequently, the material serves as a more user-friendly review for students who have taken pre-license courses throughout Florida containing this required content and organization. FL-RELEP's "national" key point reviews are a succinct compression of tested national principles and practices drawn from our own national textbook, Principles of Real Estate Practice - one of the most widely used principles textbooks in the country. Finally, our review content and question selection is tailored to follow the state testing outline promulgated by the state of Florida. As such, the breadth and depth of the law reviews and test questions reflect the topic emphasis of Florida's license exam. A word about the tests. The FL-RELEP's test questions are designed to cover the content covered by the law reviews - which reinforces your learning of the total body of information tested by the state of Florida. The questions are direct, to the point, and designed to test your understanding. When you have completed a given test, you can check your answers against the answer key in the appendix. You may also note that each question's answer is accompanied by a brief explanation to further reinforce your understanding. In the end, as you know, it's all up to you. Unlike other publications, we are not going to tell you that using this book will guarantee that you pass the Florida state exam. It still takes hard work and study to pass. But we have done our best here to get you ready. Following that, the most we can do is wish you the best of success in taking and passing your Florida exam. So good luck!!

Unlike existing textbooks written for law students on specific subjects impacting real estate transactions, Real Estate Law: Fundamentals for The Development Process uses "The Development Process" as a framework for understanding how the U.S. legal system regulates, facilitates, and generally impacts real estate transactions and their outcomes. This book not only addresses the nature of specific legal issues directly relating to real estate transactions but also how those issues may best be identified and addressed in advance. This book breaks down the myriad of laws influencing the selection, acquisition, development, financing, ownership, and management of real estate, and presents them in context.Readers of Real Estate Law will gain a practical understanding, from the perspective of a real property developer or real estate executive, investor, or lender, of:how to identify potential legal issues before they arise; when to involve a real estate attorney; how to select an attorney with the appropriate, relevant experience; and how to efficiently and economically engage and manage legal counsel in addressing real estate issues.Written as a graduate-level text book, Real Estate Law comes with numerous useful features including a glossary of terms, chapter summaries, discussion questions, further reading, and a companion website with instructor resources. It is a resource of great value to real estate and finance professionals, both with and without law degrees, engaged in one aspect or another of real estate development and finance, who want to become more conversant in the legal issues impacting these transactions.

With massive growth taking place in the real estate industry, how can China develop a free market and private ownership of land while still officially subscribing to Communist ideology? This study uses fieldwork interviews to establish how the Chinese real estate market operates in practice from both legal and business perspectives. It describes how the market functions, which laws are applicable and how they are applied, and how a nation can achieve dramatic economic growth so rapidly while its legal system is so unsettled. The book demonstrates how China is drawing on the world for ideas while retaining a domestic system that remains essentially Chinese, and how the recent revitalization of China's real estate market has confounded the predictions of many developments economists.

New Jersey Real Estate Brokerage Law covers all of the essential areas that attorneys and real estate licensees must understand in order to navigate the explosive minefield of real estate brokerage law. The book covers everything they need to know concerning procedural issues, such as licensing and education requirements, regulations for maintaining offices, and the relationship between brokers and salespersons. It also lays out in a comprehensive fashion all of the disclosures that real estate licensees are required to make, the requirements of the Real Estate Commission concerning contracts of sale and leases that real estate licensees prepare, and the advertising rules that govern real estate licensees. Two separate chapters deal with the activities a real estate licensee is prohibited from engaging in, and the discipline that can face a real estate licensee for violating the Real Estate License Act or any of the Real Estate Commission's regulations that implement the Act. The book also covers the limitations on a real estate licensee's activities so that they will not constitute the unauthorized practice of law, including the attorneyreview clause. Other topics covered include trade associations, multiple listing services, arbitration and the Code of Ethics governing NJAR® members. Although this book primarily focuses on New Jersey law, there are several Federal laws that real estate licensees must follow. Therefore, separate chapters deal with the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Fair Housing Act and leadbased paint disclosure requirements.
